Too good to be true?
Some members have contacted us recently saying they have been approached by companies offering to train them to be ‘Energy Assessors’. These companies promise instant employment in a “booming” industry once you have completed their training course at a cost of anything between £5,000 and £12,000.
A lot of the traders we have discussed this with have expressed concerns over the legitimacy of these organisations. Some have even been ripped off completely.

Just because they have a jazzy website doesn’t mean they are legit!
Check, check then check again. Always pay by credit card to ensure you can claim your money back from your card provider if they go under.
